What Is Reader Stories?
Reader Stories is a new space on this Substack—built for connecting. It’s where readers share their real-life journeys of leaving the 9–5, following their calling, and building lives on their own terms. It’s a space for raw beginnings, hard-earned wisdom, and honest questions from the road.
You can submit your own story, comment on others, and be part of a living, breathing community of people walking similar paths.
My Journey
I was born in Fairfield, Ohio, and moved to Colorado in 2003. I've wandered mountains, deserts, and oceans, recording my journeys with pen and notebook. Through my books, I share my love for nature and encourage others to seek their own paths. I’ve lived in a truck camper and worked a variety of jobs to support my travels and writing. I write because it allows me to connect with my deeper self.
