Beautifully written, and I am so agree with you. We should act like Nature does. That it how it was meant to be from the beginning. But unfortunately we have lost most of this belonging to Nature. The modern life. Work. Duties. Follow the rules. And we have lost most of our spirituality . No wonder people feel sick , stressed and lost.
It reminded me when I was growing up in Puerto Rico. I still remember the milkman stopping home by home to deliver milk in a glass jar. I think we were the last home he would arrive because my mom had to feed 5 of children. Bless simplicity. Bless nature. Bless healthy laughter. Bless everything. Thank you so much for sharing your story 🤍
Agreed. Chaos according to “US” but order, precision and flow that’s malleable. Movement like trees in the wind, shifting, bending but not breaking, and always coming back to calm. I miss it over there.
I have never had any interest in traveling to Indonesia until you went there! and share your amazing experience! Your ability to write about it and include a different aspect of nature and how it should flow between all of us .. makes me want to go and experience what I used to know about life in America back in the 50's. Also a great reminder of where we have gone wrong in our American way of life.. too far from nature.. from each other.. simplicity.. thank you for sharing and for all the reminders!! especially during these challenging times due to the lack of leadership in our country.. and the division that has been created. Sending you hugs and tiny flowers..
It's rather eye opening that some countries are grounded in a culture of acceptance and peace rather than intolerance, which is increasingly taking over the American psyche. That's one of the beauties of international travel. We get to step outside of our norms and find out how people in other cultures think and behave. It definitely calms the soul and reinforces the fact that most people on this planet we share are kind and not hostile.
Yes. We did 6 different villages on three different islands. Flew into Denpasar Bali and went to Sanur first. Then traveled to Lombok - went to Ekas first, then Senggigi. Took a boat to Gili Air. Then back to Lombok where we stayed in Kuta. Finished the trip in Ubud on Bali. You could spend much much more time exploring the many islands and flavors of Indonesia.
This is such a wonderful description of Bali, a chaotic flow brimming with beauty. I thought you might enjoy my latest poem on the rainy season here, another kind of chaos and invitation to surrender. 🙏🏼

Ive just spent 2 months in India and Indonesia trying to articulate my heart about this flow and found no words. This. This is it. Thank you 🤍
Ahh, so glad you witnessed it too and that it resonated. 💙

It was incredible to witness. And be a part of.
Thank you for this call to awareness.

I went to Bali years ago. The traffic struck me as a living thing too. Your words really evoke memories. Maybe even more vividly than I remember!

I really couldn't have summed it up any better than this. Thank you. YES! Travel to other countries is so important. 💖
I saw similar things in Cambodia and Korea when I was in those places... I agree, a stark contrast to the US.
Kenya was much like this in Nairobi. Driving was crazy but all moved as one. Used horns to communicate, no real rules yet everyone moved together.
It's wild, isn't it?
incredible! how much time did you spend there? i'd love to do a SE Asia trip with my partner.
We were there for almost 4 weeks. 😊
just indonesia?
